The Conduit
The Conduit is a long awaited game for its best graphics the Wii could offer. The controls are fast, smooth, and allow you to shoot with accurate precisions unlike some other shooting games. However that’s not all this multiplayer Wii game offers.
This multiplayer Wii games lets you play as Agent Michael Ford as he battles through hoards and hoards of enemy aliens and mind-possessed ex-agents. The story may sound old and redone, but hey blasting aliens and other players online is still fun.

The Conduit Gameplay
Controls
If you played a first person shooter game, like 007: Quantum of Solace, then you should know the controls are similar for those two Wii multiplayer games.
You point to the screen with the Wiimote (fast and accurate), and you shoot with B. Press A to jump (allows you to dodge enemy fire). C Allows you to crouch (perfect for cover fire and evading attacks). Z is for targeting your opponents. When you target though you don’t automatically lock on to them, it just makes it easier for you to hit them.
You do melee attacks by thrusting your Wiimote, and you throw your grenade by swinging the Nunchuck. Pressing the 4 directions on the D-pad leads you to different options:
- Up – Makes you turn around
- Right – Makes you change to your other weapon
- Down – Makes you zoom in or out. You can use your weapons scope if it has one.
- Left – Change grenade types
Gameplay
Like I mention earlier you play as Michael Ford. You’re a skilled agent that gets used in the game and changes sides as the story moves on. You play in the near future in Washington, D.C. (because that’s where all of the important stuff happens at).
Things happened and then your objective became to wipe out these aliens known as Druge that are planning to take control of Planet Earth.
You come in this game with the A.S.E. (All Seeing Eye). This helps you throughout the game (and acts like a flag in multiplayer mode), by solving puzzles and getting rid of these very annoying invisible bombs that will instantly kill you if you don’t disarm them.
As you moved on in the game you can pick up some nice human and alien weapons to fight your enemies with. You’ll need them, because you’ll be facing mob after mob of aliens if you don’t take out the egg sac or portal that’s summoning them.
The Conduit Multiplayer
With great multiplayer brings great fun. The Conduit doesn’t have any offline multiplayer shooting action, but it has Nintendo WFC. You could play randomly with a lot of game modes online with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This means you could organize a game with your friends, but it’s not necessary. However if you ever decide to do that then you need to add friend codes.
Note: You can play with friends, regional, and worldwide with this multiplayer Wii game.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
Okay first of all you can customize what you look like. You don’t get to choose a whole lot, just a couple of models (agent, drone, guard, scientist, and a secret character). You can choose them, and then customize their colors.
Now that you have created a character let’s move on to the shooting multiplayer game action with other people. There are 3 modes to play in, and they each have several rules to make the game even more unique.
Free-For-All
Everyone kill each other. The person with the most kills win. It gets as simple as that. In this multiplayer mode your character colors are what you set them
too. In team mode you don’t have custom coloring. There are 5 rules you can vote for:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first person who reach set amount of kills win
- Marathon – There’s no respawn time or kill limits, so just kill, kill, kill. The person with the most kill in 20 minutes wins.
- Three-Strikes – You have 3 lives. If you are the last man standing you win the game.
- ASE Football – You basically have to fight for the ASE. Every second you hold it you get 1 point. So you win if you’re the first to get 99 points, or have the most points when the time runs out.
- Bounty Hunter – As the name suggests you play like a bounty hunter hunting a target. Everybody gets a random target to kill. If they kill them they get 2 points. However if you kill someone else you lose a point, but if you kill your hunter you don’t lose any.
Team Reaper
This multiplayer shooting mode pits one team against the other for killing points. If you want to win, then kill like there’s no tomorrow! There are 3 rules to vote on:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first team who reach set amount of kills win
- Marathon – There’s no respawn time or kill limits, so just kill, kill, kill. The team with the most kills in 20 minutes wins.
- Shared Stock – Each team gets 50 lives. The first team to run out of lives loses.
Team Objective
This is capture basically capture the flag styled game. Each team has a ASE to guard and for the other team to capture. There are 4 rules to vote on in this Wii multiplayer game:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first team who captures the ASE 5 time wins. If not the team who has captured it the most wins.
- Marathon – The team that captures the ASE the most in 20 minutes wins.
- Killing Override – This mode allows you to win either by capturing the ASE 5 times or just killing 75 people.
- Single ASE – The ASE is placed in the middle of the map. The teams have to race to it, and take it back to their HQ.
Conclusion
The Conduit offers a fun gaming experience as you can also you voice chat online (although I never use it). The controls are slick, and being engage in a one-on-one gun match is exhilarating.
Besides that Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection also offers a gigantic magnitude of modes and rule to play on this multiplayer Wii game.

Wii Sports Cheats
It may be free, but you still want to win in Wii Sports! 5 sports game to play = 5 sports game to win. That’s what this section is all about, now I may not be an expert, but I have put some time into this game.
However first things first, you still have to learn the basic controls. To do this you can go play the game, or go into training mode. Training Mode will help you learn everything step-by-step.
Bowling
Getting Strikes
Okay what I have found that works for me was to slightly move to the right a step or two. Then making sure you hold the Wiimote straight as you throw, otherwise it could go wrong (you might try adjusting how you hold it for it to work for you). There are more ways to get strikes, but this is the method that works best for me.
Spinning
If you want your ball to curve you have to twist your Wiimote (making sure it’s not evenly straight).
Tennis
Power Swings
You don’t really need to swing your arms fast or anything to get a powerful shot. What you really need to do is to swing the Wiimote hard. Beware it might hurt your wrist.
Ace Serves
Have you ever done any of those high speed golden colored serves? It’s not just luck, and there are ways to serve them. When you serve hit the ball when it’s at its highest point.
A common mistake people make is that they hit the ball when they see it reach the highest point. Now unless you’re reaction speed is like 0.001 second the ball will already past it’s highest point.
Surprise Attacks
You can sometimes surprise your opponents by hitting balls with your partner at the net, or let the ball get past them so the partner at the back could get it.
Boxing
Rapid Punches Are A No-No
Doing rapid punches will be impossible. Instead you shouldn’t be like my brother and just punch crazily. Instead you should block and go with a steady amount of lefts and rights.
Swinging the Wiimote harder will result in a strongerpunch.
Baseball
Pitching
The ideal pitching move is the splitter ball. You can do this by pressing A and B and then throw. It’s a tough ball the falls downwards.
Getting Home Runs
Now this may not always work, but I noticed it did help me several times. To get home runs give yourself some swing space with your wiimote held high and behind you. Then swing the bat when it gets close the diamond. Try to hit it straight on and follow through as you hit the ball.
Golf
Umm…help?
Aim Practice
The only thing I can say is to test your swing before you do it for real. This could give you a good idea on how much power to put in your swings.

Bomberman Land
With one problem comes another. Bomberman was taking a nice and relaxed break from saving the world, when he receives an invitation to Bomberman Land.
Now for those of you who played and know what Bomberman is all about, you’ll get a shocking surprise. The story mode of this party game doesn’t have the classic bomb dropping action we all played and love.
No instead you’ll be entering an amusement park. What’s the twist? You’re going to unlock the multiplayer mode mini-games, and you’re going to need to use tokens.
What are tokens for? Tokens allow you to play the mini-games. Once you run out of tokens though, you’re done for the round. Beware: there are multiple CPU’s, and they have no mercy! T.T
| Pro: |

Bomberman Land Gameplay
Controls
You play with just the Wiimote. You move by pointing on the screen and pressing B (or the D-Pad + B). Press A to interact with people. – Activates a map, and + opens your options that let you see your status and clothings.
While playing mini-games things are played differently. Some require you to play horizontally while others require you to just use the Wiimote’s motion sensing abilities.
Gameplay
Bomberman Land is simple. Basically when Bomberman arrived at Bomberman Land he meets old friends and new rivals. It all started nicely, the director of the amusement part greeted them, but that ended shortly as a hostile takeover was commenced. In the end the director was taken hostage by the champion of Bomberman Land and it’s up to you to dethrone the champion.
There are 5 zones to play through. Each zones have their own mini-games and depending on what grade (A, B, C, etc) you get more points (A being the highest,
nothing being the lowest). This would be easy to win, if there wasn’t a price… Everytime you play a mini-game you have to pay tokens. Tokens are given to you at the beginning of each round (3 total), and it’s up to you on how to use them.
Some of the mini-games are relitivly hard, and are not that fun at all. However if you get far enough in the mini-games things become more enjoyable. What I don’t like about these games is the fact that you’re playing by yourself. Your opponenet automatically play and win giving you some slight disadvantage.
At the end of all 3 rounds you are sent to the next zone if you have enough points.
However before you begin a round there things you can do. First of all there is the training rooms. There is a training room for single-player games, and multiplayer games. Playing and winning them will yield you some TP. Not only does it give you experience with the mini-games you can use the TP to buy clothing.
With TP you can purchase clothings. Do you have to do it? No, but it’s recommended, because the more stylish you are (which I kind of doubt, what’re these clothings?), the more extra tokens you can secretly get at the beginning of each round.
Bomberman Land Multiplayer
This game includes the classical Bomberman Battle game with new maps and power-ups, but not only that this multiplayer party game also includes 10 multiplayer mini-games.
Attractions
What this mode is clear and simple. You just play the multiplayer mini-games from Story Mode to your choosing and with your friends. Now there are only 10,
5 for 4-players, and 5 for 2-players.
Battle Mode
This is the old and classic Bomberman game right here. The basic gameplay is that you’re in a stage with blocks blocking your path. Drop bombs and destroy them. If you get hit by a bomb you’re dead. So make sure to hide behind pillars and other objects. There are 6 modes to this game and they are:
- Normal – You and 3 other players try to kill each other. Just be careful not to blow yourself up.
- Star – Inside blocks are stars that are being hidden. The person who collects the most stars in the end of the time limit you set wins.
- Point – Blow people up to get points. ‘Nuff Said
- Crown – Race to the crown that’s being blocked by blocks. You can attack the other players if you want. If you are the last man standing all of the blocks will automatically blow up.
- All-Out – Same as normal, except once you’re dead you come back riding a machine. The machine can throw bombs at any location, perfect for getting revenge on your killer!
- Wii – Point at the screen and throw bombs to blow the targets in the map. The person who first reaches a certain amount of points win the game.
Conclusion
Every tiny little detail thought about, Bomberman Land is a fun game, including the shallow mini-games (They’re mini-games, what do you expect?). My favorite mode is battle mode, with everyone with tons of mind blowing power ups.
While the main games aren’t the best around, and some things will easily keep them down, the highly classical yet fun battle mode will make up for, and add to the mind-blowing experience.
The game gets to the peak of being fun when you get upgrades and start dropping bombs like there’s no tomorrow.
If you’re interested I would recommend you to buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Cheats
Well I’m a bit busy (and lazy) today, so here’s some tricks and a reports about the best gunners that Steve wrote about.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Report
Win most battles: To win most duels, choose a character with a single red lightsaber, then use force choke like crazy. Force choke immobilizes and damages opponents for one heart. The main part is to immobilize them, so they cannot resist. Note: Do NOT use Darth Maul as he sucks ‘cause he just stuns the person.
Powerup Camping: This will really help win, especially if your opponent is a choker. Quickly find the powerup, and then beat up your enemy. When the little icon starts flashing, quickly run back to the place you’ve found it in the first place.
Best Gunners: The best gunners in the whole game are the Fetts. The Fetts are Boba and Jango, and while they both have mad skills, Boba is slightly better. I’ll show you why in this extremely convenient chart.
| Grenades | Karate | Damage/Number of shots | Jet pack | |
| Boba | Yes | Yes | One Shot Two hearts each |
Yes |
| Jango | Yes | Yes | Two Shots
One heart each |
Yes |
| Everyone Else | No | Yes | One Shot One Heart each |
No |
| Other bounty hunters | Yes | Yes | One Shot One Heart each |
No |
Now I’ll narrow it down a little bit more between the Fetts.
| Bullet Speed | Number of bullets onscreen | Damage | Jet Pack Time | |
| Boba | Faster | One | Two | Same |
| Jango | Slower | Two | One per shot | Same |
They’re basically the same, except for guns, and looks. Jango shoots two average speed bullets, while Boba shoots one double damage fast bullet. Really, at this point, it’s just personal opinion.
Easy(ish) Studs
To get an easy million studs, simply complete Lego City, and while you’re at it, beat the game and do the bounty hunts as well.

007: Quantum of Solace
Since I have never seen James Bond: Quantum of Solace (or is it 007?), but anyways…
In this multiplayer shooter game you might encounter some control problems, and maybe some unclear objectives, but this game really shines through in its multiplayer modes.
Among all of the problems in this game, what you should really want to do is multiplayer mode. Here the game does some nifty things pairing you with a total of 4 players online in 4 different modes.
| Pro: |

007: Quantum of Solace Gameplay
Now once you make yourself a profile (by picking your mii) you’re introduced to story mode, multiplayer mode, or online mode. You can just play the beginning (tutorial) and just go online.
You play this shooter game by pointing at the enemies and then shoot at them. You can run, which allows you to make a fun run and fire strategy. Not only that, but you can throw grenades at your opponent, just make sure you don’t point at a wall, otherwise the grenade will bounce back and blow up on you!
Now if you don’t want to be the type that runs in to the middle of the battlefield there are other ways for you to play. You can run into cover and blind shoot your opponent. This means just hold your gun up and fire. What actually happens is that you point at a spot and shoot.
The last thing is that by running up to a person and then shake the nunchuck you’ll engage them in hand-to-hand combat.
007: Quantum of Solace Multiplayer
Multiplayer is where all of the action of this game is. The games ranking system can be pretty messed up sometimes, but you’ll still have a kick knowing that you’re snipping someone to death multiplayer times, or that you secretly strangle someone to death.
This multiplayer wii game supports Nintendo WFC so you can go online and face off with friends that you exchange friend codes with. You can only have a maximum amount of 4 players per game.
Local Multiplayer Mode
You can play locally with up to 4 of your friends. You can play in 4 modes, but really it’s just 2 modes that is with teams or is just solo. You get to choose 5 classes, and each class has their own set of weapons, but don’t worry you can always re-choose your class mid-game.
There are 2 sides you can choose from, but don’t worry the classes may have different names, but they play the same compared to their counter parts.
Nintendo WFC
This is pretty much the same thing as local multiplayer mode. The only difference is that you get to play with the big screen all by yourself.
The Four Modes
Now the four modes are:
- Rush – This is where you go accomplish solo missions while the rest of the people are trying to kill you to accomplish their mission instead
- Conflict – This mode is basically Death Match. Try and kill as much people as you can in your 15 minute time span.
- Team Rush – Do I need to say anything?
- Conflict – You know it…
Conclusion
Having the ability to strategically move from cover to cover and not to mention go crazy and try to kill everyone you want makes James Bond: Quantum of Solace a very fast-paced wii shooter game.
The single player part of the game might be bad, because color problems, glitches, and unfortunately much more, can be easily made up by this awesome 4-player multiplayer mode.

Let’s Tap Cheats
Even games where tapping is the name of the game you can still get some hints, tips, and tricks to help you win.
We’ll start this out fast with one of the easiest way to master the game:
Changing Your Power
To win in Let’s Tap one most focus his energy into… adjusting the tap power for your wiimote. Once you adjusted it use the meter available to gauge your power. Practice.
If you’re looking at the same tap guage that I’m looking then yellow is light, blue is medium, and red is hard.
Tap Runner
Ropes
To move fast when you’re balancing on ropes you have to tap lighter then what you usually do, and do it quickly. It’s harder said then done. I recommend using your thumb if you’re not confident on doing it.
Slides
To get maximum distance from sliding down from a slide, hit hard on the wiimote at the last second. If you do it right you can get farther ahead of your enemies.
More Stages
Get S rank on the rest of 16 stages to unlock the last 4 stages.
Rhytme Tap
Concentration
By focusing everything you have to the game you can somehow do a lot better, even if you weren’t distracted! Don’t look at your score, your friends score, or even if you’re brother has just gotten a broken arm from falling down the stairs
Power Taps
Okay a real advice is that there are three types of notes to hit. If you read the instruction this would be a no brainer. Just hit them according to their size with their own individual strength. Ex: If it’s small hit it weakly.
Now to do this more accurately you should look at your tap guague to see how strong you hit it and such.
More Stages
Get S rank on the rest of 16 stages to unlock the last 4 stages. Yes… this was copy and pasted down.
Silent Blocks
Knocking Things Down Is Bad
Usually I find it that the best way to not knock things down is to find a spot that’s opposite of where the toppling tower is going to fall, and quickly tap it.

Grand Slam Tennis
Being a tennis player myself I love to play these tennis games. Now it won’t help me improve what so ever, but it does help give me some in-depth look into the game, and gives me the “Hey! I can do that, but I don’t!” speech.
In Grand Slam Tennis not only can you play as some famous tennis players, but you can create your own crew of players (8 total players) to play against these legendary players and even more people online.
In this multiplayer sports game things may be hard at first, but stick with it, because if you keep on trying you’ll eventually win those matches with a flying ace.

Grand Slam Tennis Gameplay
Now for once, this game isn’t always easy to play. In fact it can be a very frustrating gaming experience sometimes. First of all by pressing the A button you do a lob (a high bouncing shot), and by pressing B while swinging you do a drop shot (a weak, low bouncing ball).
By swinging downward you do a slice shot (a curving green colored shot), a straight swing gives you a flat shot (a pretty straight, strong shot), and upward for a topspin (a high bouncing red shot).
Now sometimes by swinging too hard you might hit the ball out of the court so you can’t go crazy hitting things (of course sometimes that’s not always true).
In Grand Slam Mode you get to play as your own custom made characters as you try to win the 4 grand tournaments while facing against legendary players. If you beat them, you get a new ability for you to equip to boost your own skills.
Grand Slam Tennis Multiplayer
There are tons of ways for you to play with your friends in Grand Slam Tennis. First of all you can play normal matches, go play games with different rules in
party mode, and go play with your friends online with Nintendo WFC. Friend codes aren’t totally necessary.
Note: You can play your very own custom created character in all of the modes.
Play Now
As the name suggests you get to play a regular match with your friends in either singles, or doubles. Don’t worry if you don’t have enough people, because you can always get a computer to fill in.
Party Mode
Here are 13 games where you can play with your friend. Never get over confident and mess it all up in the end. I did this once. It was a timed game. I was the champion (meaning I was going to win) with 5 seconds of the game left. I played and lost in 4 seconds. I never had a chance…
Inside this mode are party session and quick game.
- Party Session – Here you play 13 types of tennis games with 2-4 players. You choose about how long you want to play, the rules of the game, and then one of the 13 tennis games to play, don’t worry there not just normal matches!
- Quick Game – Unlike going through a competition to see who’s the pro. You just simply choose one of the 13 party games to play. In this mode you can play by yourself if you wish.
Online
Here is where you stake your countries reputation at stake. Here you’ll see whether if your county is the best, if you’re the best player in your country, and if you’re the best player in the world!
When you first connect to Nintendo WFC on this game you have to agree to EA’s terms and conditions. Once you do that you can play online, but if you want the full experience you have to sign up for an EA account.
Once you’re online you can play with friends you signed up with friend codes, or just play random people. You can only play ranking matches if you have an account. Finally you can play doubles online if you have a friend or family member play as a second person!
Conclusion
Besides learning how to play the game and the controller difficulties, I had a blast playing this game, and I still do! Being able to make your own character and play them in realistic courts, and not to mention really swing your wiimote to hit the ball adds a bit of self accomplishment.
You know you’re having fun when you constantly making your opponents run to the left, and then end them by hitting the ball to the right!
if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Cheats
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is different from your typical racing game (probably due to the speed, power, and flying system from Sonic Heroes). You play as racers capable of:
- Smashing through walls and structures.
- Grinding on rails to avoid the normal path.
- Flying through the stage via flying rings.
Here are some tips and tricks on doing better in your gaming.
Racing Tricks
Starting Line
If you make it exactly to the starting line with the bar you get 100 gravity points (GP) to you’re meter, and the perfect head start. The trick to getting it is to wait and run when the time hits 2.9 seconds. Now everybody’s reflexes are different so you should test around, but this tip should work.
Jumping
Notice how you get ranked on your jumps? Well, you don’t get to do tricks, but the later you jump off the ramp, the higher you go, and the more tricks you perform. Sure the landing looks cruddy, like you messed up, but don’t worry you didn’t. The better ranking you get the more GP you get.
Wall Changing
Some stages will have signs pointing to a wall. The trick is to go over there and use Gravity Drift (B + Direction of the wall) to race on the wall. You stay there for the duration while getting some nice goodies.
Collecting Rings
It’s extremely vital that you collect rings in the beginning. If you do that you can upgrade your gears. If you don’t upgrade your gear you can’t do things like smash buildings, fly, or even grind!
Gravity Dash
When you see the R button (or you’re in a area where it’s pretty straight) you should press R (Gravity Drive), and start going super fast through the area. The unique thing here though is that you can fly in the air. By pressing down you fly up (controls are inverted), and if you collide with objects you get to move even faster! Might I also mention there are tons of objects for multiple collisions?
Making Those Sharp Turns
If you want to make those sharp turns in the game you have to use Gravity Drift. It’s really easy to use. The trick is to just do what the game says and press B and a direction. Hold onto it until you get into a good direction and let go! You’ll get a boost to boot!
Use Your Type Advantage
This is obvious. If you’re speed type you should go use speed ever rail to your advantage. Like wise if you’re power or flying. Look out for the signs telling you.
- Yellow = Flying
- Blue = Speed
- Red = Power
Note: Before you can do any of this though you have to gear change and unlock the ability on your board.

Castle of Shikigami III
When you first get this game you’ll realize 2 things, 1. If you didn’t the previous game you won’t get the story (I didn’t get it either). 2. The game is hard.
A couple days ago at the time I was writing this, a friend and I tried to battle through the game on normal difficulty. We couldn’t even get passed stage 3 (there’s 5 total). We tried all sorts of things: dodge everything, use the strongest character ever, a person use a defense shikigami move while the other attacks. None of them worked.
As a multiplayer shooting game you’ll be flying through the skies evading the hundreds of bullet flying at you. It’s not as bad as you might think, because you can actually squeeze through spots, and on rare occasions do you actually get hit.
There are 10 to choose from, and each of them is unique. Depending on who you play with you can get a combination of 55 individual story lines for each combination of characters as they battle through the castle of shikigami.
| Pro: |

Castle of Shikigami III Gameplay
Castle of Shikigami III plays as one of those classic side scrolling shooting games, with its multiplayer aspects moved into the Wii. Meaning in the game you move upwards.
You pick one of the options, which are: boss battles, dramatic change mode, single player, and 2-players Co-Op.
It doesn’t matter what you pick. Once you choose one you get to select options like, enabling cut scenes between stages and boss battles, the difficulty level, and even the background music!
You’ll be playing with just the wiimote, horizontally. After the options, you choose your characters. Rapidly tapping 2 will make you continuously fire your characters individual attacks.
Each character also has shikigami attacks, and they each have 2 types to choose from. By pressing and holding down 2 you get to use your power. As long as you hold it down the attack will stay there.
By pressing 1, you get to use basically a smart bomb that eradicates everything in the map. Everybody starts out with 3 bombs and have 3 lives before they die, and have to use a credit to continue.
By getting near enemy attacks you’ll generate tension, which basically allows you to shoot bigger and stronger red colored attacks. Also by pressing 1 and 2 your character enters a mode where they’ll shoot tension attacks for a short while. Be warned it takes a bomb slot.
Castle of Shikigami III Multliplayer
Let’s just get straight to the point. No Nintendo WFC. You’ll be playing with a friend locally with you. By playing cooperatively you play with 2 characters making 45 different Co-Op scenarios.
2-player Mode
You get a friend, you pick the difficulty, and then you beat the game! It’s a lot harder then that though, because you’ll both share credits. That means everything you have would be cut in half.
Not only is playing with friends and family fun (and also very frustrating) as you play through the stages and watch the scenes, but it’s also the only way for you to play through the 45 other scenarios in the game.
Conclusion
With 10 characters, 55 scenarios: 10 single player, and 45 2-players you’ll be playing this game for a long time. For the rest of us who aren’t perfectionist or over-achievers, it’s still a great, fun game that can be played every now and then for fun.
It may not be easy, but it is really a great multiplayer wii game you can play as you battle through the sky, dodging the hundreds if not thousands of enemy fire coming at you. Not to mention dodging all of those attacks the bosses send at you (trust me; it’s a lot of bullets).

There you’ll meet a guy who’ll interview you. All you have to do is say EVERYONE HAPPY and then Wi-Fi CONNECTION. Then you unlock Mystery Gift!
Pokemon’s Moves
Now if you want to really kill your friends and anybody else you should follow some of these tips and tricks.
Move Types
First off your Pokemon should learn attacks that have are different types (unless they’re there for a different reason ex: screech, tail whip, etc) to get the type advantage against your friends.
STAB
STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) is when a pokemon uses a move that is the same type as it is. When you do this you increase the damage up to 1.5 stronger. Now combine a strong corresponding move and you get a super beefed up attack.
Move Types 2
Another common mistake my friends and I make was that we used moves like Flamethrower with a Pokemon that specializes with the attack stat. Now Flamethrower could still hurt, but you would have been better off using a physical fire type move like Fire Punch or Fire Fang.
Pokemon’s Stats
Next you should understand that stats are important for your Pokemon. It doesn’t matter if they have the coolest, most awesome move if your Pokemon isn’t strong enough to even hurt a fly.
There are 6 stats:
- Attack – This is how much damage you do with physical attacks like: Giga Impact, Shadow Punch, Flame Wheel, Volt Tackle, etc.
- Defense – This is how much damage you reduce from taking physical based attacks.
- Special Attack – This is how much damage you do with special attacks like: Flamethrower, Hyper Beam, Draco Meteor, Fire Spin, etc
- Special Defense – This is how much damage you reduce from taking special based attacks.
- Speed – This is how well you dodge your opponents attack and who gets to attack first.
- HP – This is how much HP you have left. When this bugger goes all the way down to 0 your Pokemon “faints”.
Now you should learn about IV and EV. What are they well, IV is like your born talent for a stat, and EV is like training for stats.
IV (Individual Value)
Every Pokemon have a preset amount of IV that can’t be changed. A Pokemon can get from 0-31 IV for each stat. More IV in a stat = More stats
Unfortunately there is no way to control the IV your Pokemon gets. Instead your best chances are just to catch a whole bunch of Pokemon, and figure out which one has the best stats via an IV calculator (Google it), and then breed them (a goof Ditto is ideal).
The reason you want a Ditto is, because Ditto can breed with every Pokemon that’s breedable, because of its abilities to…change forms.
I don’t know why it works, but if you think it like this: If a athletic person marries another athletic person their athletic genes may be passed down unto their child. IV works kind of like that.
EV (Effort Value)
EV unlike IV is not preset with the Pokemon. EV is like training your stats behind what the game really shows you.
Every Pokemon you fight gives you EV, and every 4 EV = 1 stat point. Each stat can only have 255 EV, and you can only get a total of 510 EV.
Giving your Pokemon “drugs” as my friends call them give your Pokemon 10 EV. You can only give 10 of them so that’s 100 EV for any stat (they don’t have to all go to one stat). Remember you’re not giving your Pokemon steroids you’re giving them stats enhancing items!
Nature
Another thing that really affects your stats is the nature (personality) of the Pokemon. It is possible for every Pokemon to get every nature in the game. Your ideal Pokemon would have a nature that would fit their stats.
Depending on the nature of your Pokemon one of their stats will be raised and another will be lowered. However there are exceptions. There are 5 (out of 25) nature that doesn’t reduce or increase your stats.
Never Underestimate the Power of Fully Trained Pokemons
For instance since I’m the only one who trains my Pokemon with “steroids” in my group of friends, I came out on top. In fact I almost defeated my friends with a Staraptor and a Surfing Raichu (The prized Pikachu from Pokemon Battle Revolution).
However soon I became Cocky and my whole team lost to a Jolteon (although I have my suspicion that the guy cheated with his Pokemon…)
Strategies
What I mean by strategies isn’t by what to do, but Pokemon “builds” that’s based off of their stats and move choices, because, yes, some Pokemon are better then others.
Sweeper
Sweepers are pokemon that attacks the opponent and gets rid of them fast. Sweepers usually have high speed and high attack/special attack.
Walls
Walls are pokemon with high defensive/special defensive stats that do things like poisoning the opponent’s pokemon while taking small damage, or something similar. They can also have a lot of HP and support your team with Safeguard and Protect (Blissey)
Status (Forgot What They Were Called…)
These Pokemons are hard to get rid of and they give annoying status effects like confusion and poison. I guess they can also be considered Walls.
Baton Passers
What these guys do is that they pump up their stats and that’s it. What? You expect anything else? Well you’re right, because after they pump up their stats, they use the move baton pass, which basically makes you switch to another Pokemon passing over all of the stat increase!
Now this is all I can think of, but there must be plenty more “builds”, strategy, and overall tricks in this game for you to use and abuse.
