You know how usually you can cut debris and whatnot? You can’t in this game. Nothing wrong with that, it just sometimes leads you to wonder why barrels and crates are scattered about. Well, sometimes, you wonder why there are monsters in dungeons, and why the super special fragments get lodged in caves instead of fields. Well, whatever the reason, wouldn’t collecting them attract them to YOU? Apparently not, eh?

While it’s a simple matter of A-A-B, if you flicker you can swing the wiimote for MASSIVE DAMAGE!!! You can move with the nunchuck, like all 3D games. Also,

you can press “Z” To sprint, and “C” to climb. The D-Pad sets spells, and…actually, that’s everything. In fact, why’d I tell you that? You go through a mandatory tutorial, anyways!

Gameplay

So, basically, the plot is some dude needs his drugs. Go get ‘em. Now go get the crystals so he can assimilate them and become all powerful to destroy you.

Okay, so I made up that last part. But you do start as a Wayward Vagabond on his way home. No wait…that’s not it either…Okay, you’re an ambitious…no wait…Okay, you’re a jobless bum who happens to be an adventurer/hero. So you’re recruited by some guy who’s like, five years younger to get him something from a cave in his ridiculously over-sized backyard. And then he recruits you to go get some special fragments from inside caves.

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga Multiplayer

So, you’ll be playing campaign. BUT you can go to the bar to invite your Nintendo WFC friends. Or your real friend. AND SOMETIMES: Your neighbors!!!

But seriously, you’ll need someone to hang with, or else, you’ll need a…MERCANERY!!! Especially if you’re a useless bard.  Warning: Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection only!

Conclusion

Valhalla Knights is a nice little (Big!) game. It has a lot of customization, especially at the second part of the game. Which you can skip to if you want. Yeah, we’ve got two chapters…episodes. Right, two episodes, and by the way, all the references were from the first episode.

Valhalla Knights involves plenty of slashing and fireballs, and, while the cut scenes can be bland, but the gameplay is more then enough to make it worth it’s fifty.

The game has plenty of action, and lots of side quests, but lack of explanations may confuse people. Overall, worth the cash to buy it.  However its actually quite rare to find since it’s not a very popular game.

The human brain is very adaptive (or so I have been told).  Just, because you’re a genius doesn’t mean you would do well in Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree when you first play it.

However it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that practicing the game will help will help you do better.

Practicing

It’s not your fault actually.  First of all you needed to adapt to the game and actually learn how to play the mini-games.  Once you got those stuff down you are ready to take the exams again (and you’ll probably do even better).  Yup, you’ll start out well, but things will get harder the moment you start acing things.

What’s my point?  Practice and not giving up based on the first opinion is the key to succeeding in this game.

Okay, before you get too deep in, I thought I’d just warn you that the game is more think then do. You’re more likely to think of an extremely elaborate yet random looking path then to make a straight shot. Of course, sometimes, the straight shot may confuse some people.

This multiplayer Wii game is just a giant mind game. You’ll have to confuse people with elaborate tricks, and, if you don’t make a huddle where someone hides in the bathroom while you scheme, you’ll have to make your strategy confusing yet simple.

Madden NFL 09 Gameplay

Controls

You’ll be basically swinging the back and forth to pass, and, while making a play, point and A to move it around. Ummmmmmmm… I think that’s all you need to know. Except “Z” and left/right to throw.

Gameplay

You’re playing as a real life official football team. You’re playing other AI teams, and sometimes, your own friends. And, you can go into a pocket paradox dimension and play against yourself. Errrr…your own team…your team’s alternate. Don’t ask me. Also, your team has stats. That’s right, STATS. Some will be better at defense, attack, ect.

Madden NFL 09 Multiplayer

This game has multiplayer. You can play against either your friends, or Nintendo WFC. Ummm…go online and fight to the death end of the game. Okay, that’s it. I swear.

Conclusion

You’ll have to fight to mosh…brawl…tackle? Whatever, you’ll have  to tackle the guy with the ball, get across, and make punts to score points. Just keep in mind, if you go crazy, and score point, you’re probably the luckiest man ever.

Madden ‘09 is a excellent game for football lovers, and people who can’t play for some reason, like a sprain ankle. While the concept of running and throwing seems easy, you’ll find that if you try it like this, you’ll only find yourself 50 points down. All and all, this game is an excellent sports game,  although with a little too much strategy involved. Just like real life!

Well I don’t really have much advice in The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, so I’ll just go for the typical how to unlock characters that you can find in those big gaming sites (gamespot.com, gamefaqs.com, ign.com).  Of course all credits goes to them.

Unlocking Characters

Okay let’s get this list started.  There are quite a lot of characters in this game, but there are specific categories you have to fulfil.

Finish Story Mode With Billy, Erwin, Grim, or Mandy

These characters can be unlocked by simply beating story mode with the above characters (not only that, but these are the only characters you can play, besides Billy’s Dad):

• Eris
• Fred FredBurger
• Mogar
• Nergal

Finish Mission Mode

By doing mission mode and completing specific missions in specific tiers you can unlock new characters.

Other Characters

Now that you have all of the characters you can unlock other characters by beating all of the characters in Story Mode.  Some of them have even more specific tasks:

• Clown – Finish Story Mode with all characters and fight 100 matches in Vs. Mode.
• Chicken – Finish Story Mode with all characters and play for 10 hours.
• Nerglings – Finish Story Mode with all characters.
• Pumpkin – Finish Story Mode with all characters and cause 100,000 total damage in Vs. Mode to unlock him.
• Viking – Finish Story Mode with all characters and destroy all of the letters in the credits (yes they are destructible)

Mojo Attack

When your mojo meter (Below your HP, silly!) is full (Or full twice), raise your Nunchuck to unleash either a furious barrage of combos, or an ultimate, opponent crushing attack. Fill it up by touching the little purple swirly orbs.

Alright, you up for using that near dead, badly treated, near dead brain. Ya know, that thing between your ears? Inside your skull? Tells your heart to pump? Makes you breathe? Oh, whatever, all you need to know is that you must think. You heard me, THINK!

So yeah, you’ll be solving puzzles in this multiplayer Wii game. Most of them involve NOT getting killed, but some involve not getting the treasure crushed. Seriously, you’ll be rolling boulders and playing with fire. AND SOMETIMES EVIL CULTISTS THAT WILL BITE YOUR HANDS OFF!

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure Gameplay

CONTROLS

Well, the game’s features a point and click styled puzzle solving, and often times will force to look around.

To look around, press be, then move your wiimote pointer around.

To loot goods, press “A” to pick ‘em up. Except you can only hold one at any time. No matter how muscular Zack is, you only get one. Oh, and you shake for Wiki.

Gameplay

You’re a pirate looking to strike it rich. Sooooo…you try for Barbaros’ treasure, only a rival pirate gang shoot you out of the sky, and your pilot ditched you.

Eventually you meet up with the ghost of Barbaros, and, in exchange for fixing his body, he’ll give you his legendary ship.

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure Multiplayer

So, your friends will slightly help you. They’ll point around to highlight stuff you might find useful. Yeah. That’s it. I’ve got better uses for my friends then that, but ya know, at least they CAN help.

Conclusion

Zack and Wiki is a game that’ll have your mind trying to eat itself, even IF you’re really smart. While you’ll often times be pointing and pressing, you can also be pulling and using the wiimote like a real item! You’ll be fishing, as well as spiking soup with sleepy time mushrooms.

Zack and Wiki isn’t a must have, but it can provide hours of entertainment. Ya know, assuming you don’t get angry and want to smash your TV over it. Otherwise, Zack and Wiki is a great puzzle game.

Grand Slam Tennis, is a very dedicated tennis games, with the addition of the Wii motion Plus.  However since I don’t use that I have no clue what I’m missing out on…

Now besides swinging hard (and possibly break your TV) there are more things to help with you in the game.

Besides having your set of skills you can equip on to your character there are many things you can do to get the edge in the game.

Grand Slam Tennis Tricks

Lob and Drop

First of all these are some simple strategies that night not work, but if your opponent is on the base line pounding the ball back at you, try drop-shot it, and when they run to get it, give them a lob!

This can also work vise-versa!  They’re too close to the net, just lob it to the back, and drop-shot if not hit a super shot to win the match!

Rallying

After the serve you can rush the net.  That means you can quickly smash the ball at your opponents, attacking them with the ball rapidly and make human mistakes/ impossible-to-win-shots.

Direction of the Swing

Besides swinging your arm off to get a strong shot, you can also manipulate the direction of your shots.  It’s not hard: it all depends on when you swing, and where the ball is at.

Saving the Ball

If you can almost reach the ball or if it’s too far anyways you might as well try and swing.  Who knows when you dive for the ball you might manage to save it, and your match.

Serve + Baseline

Sometimes just staying back on the baseline after serving and returning your shots you can win some games (usually the player who serves has the advantage).

Now a simple way to beat this strategy is to rush the net and swing it back, but these are some advice, you should play the game and find out some stuff for yourself.

Controls

The controls are really easy to understand, but sometimes it’s hard to do.

• Raise the Wiimote/ Nunchuck to hit the upper circles.
• Shake the Wiimote/ Nunchuck leveled to hit the middle circles.
• Lower the Wiimote/ Nunchuck to hit the lower circles
• When playing you might get pictures of Mr. Pose swinging upwards, to the left, to the right, etc.  Just copy what he shows and be awarded!

So yeah, simple controls, but things get crazy when notes fly in all direction.  Just look at one of the pictures for an idea of the “holes”.

Gameplay

So yeah, I have no clue what’s the plot of this game, but you play through Mexican songs with your maracas!

Basically you choose a song and the difficulty.  However in career mode (basically the mode that gives this game purpose) you choose the difficulty and the set of music, and then the songs.

Finishing a set will give you another set, and a difficulty will give you a new one.

Once you chose a song, you’ll have to hit the notes when it’s in the circle.  Like DDR the closer you hit the note in the middle the better points you get.

In this game you have multiplayer offline and on Nintendo WFC.  However there is no multiplayer on

Choose a difficulty and then song, play it with your friends!

You can choose 2 modes, normal and hustle.  Hustle basically have you playing with Mr. Pose a lot (you’re going to doing a lot of poses).

Love Love Mode

This mode has you and a friend working together trying to get in synch.  The more in synch you are the more points you get!

Mini-game Mode

What can I say in this mode, you play mini-games specifically with the controls: like batting a piñata and posing!

Classic Mode

Personally I have never found out what’s the difference between this mode and Quick Game.  However this mode is available!

Conclusion

With numerous songs + the difficulty you’ll be spending a long time in this multiplayer Wii game before you can master this game.

I love how you play the game like a maraca with the Wiimote and Nunchuck, it allows me to work on my arm strength (big lie), but it’s still fun!
