Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone
You know how when you say you’re smart other people will tell you to “prove it”? Well drag them into this puzzle trivia game and show them who the smarty pants is!
Smarty Pants doesn’t have much to do, but for what it does have it has a lot of good things, spanning from 20,000 questions in 8 categories!
Unfortunately though the game doesn’t have much different things for you to do, so its one of those casual games that you’ll play with friends and family every now and then when you have absolutely nothing else to do.

Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone Gameplay
Gameplay
Smarty Pants, like all the other trivia games is all about answering questions. You have 4 choices, 1 answer, and 3 wrong answers.
You can’t play much by yourself, the only thing you can do is just answer questions within a certain time limit and see how many questions you can get right.
Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone Multiplayer
This multiplayer Wii game has 2 multiplayer mode: Friend Mode and Family Mode. Friend mode is competitive and family is Co-Op.
Friend Mode
You have 2 modes to play in this, both involving spinning a wheel for a category and then ringing in to answer questions for points:
- Wager – After you choose a category you enter a mini-game where you shoot moving objects for points. If you’re in a category that you’re really good at shoot at the positive points, and if you’re in a bad category shoot red color objects to deduct the points each correct answers give you.
- Countdown – No point deciding you just spin a wheel for you category and try to get the right answers.
Family Mode
This is the same as solo mode.
First you choose a how much time you want to work with and the amount of questions you want to work through.
Finally you get to choose to use multi-remote or one wiimote. There is really no difference, just try to quickly answer all the questions as fast and correctly as possible!
Conclusion
20,000 questions, 8 categories, and 2 modes, Smarty Pants won’t be the next block buster hit, but its still a great game for you to play if you’re sick of Super Smash Brother Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and all of those other games.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex is a ported version of Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
However just, because it’s for the Wii doesn’t make this multiplayer Wii game bad. In fact you can play online or just the campaign just as well as Modern Warfare 2, just as long as you’re not one of those graphic freaks
The pistol reloads faster then the machine gun, but the knife reloads faster then the pistol. –That Chief Commander Guy at the tutorial
It’s true, stabbing equals one hit kill. Provided you CAN stab someone, anyways. Well, guess what game’s back? Call of Duty! That one game that used to be a second dog but is now a top dog! Okay, yeah, I think that’s enough gushing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Gameplay
Gameplay
You play this game like any other multiplayer shooting games. You point in the screen and fire your bullets.
One major improvement in this game is the fact that you don’t throw grenades whenever you shake the nunchuck. I have killed myself many times with the grenade as I scratched my nose. L
The game has a tutorial that teaches you everything, but I can say that everything is smooth and actually fun compared to a lot of other games.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Multiplayer
Multiplayer
Unfortunately in this game there is no offline multiplayer like the other counterpart, but this game still has Nintendo WFC!
You might think the games will run slowly, but you’re dead wrong. You might see people lag around, you might even lag around, but when you play deeper into the game you won’t noticed the lag as much.
When you first go online you can choose from only 3 modes of games. You also get pre-made classes with set weapons.
As you quickly play throught the game you’ll get exp and increases in ranks. When you get to rank 4 you could create your own character. You can give him whatever weapons, sub weapons, perks (special ability) that you want.
You have far too many game modes to play in, so I won’t say any. ‘Sides, the title is pretty self explanatory (I mean, come on, DEATHMATCH!? That’s plainly obvious), so read ‘em yourself.
The guns aren’t as self explainatory, but just read their description and just plow through people with bullets of fury!
Conclusion
Okay, in this game, you’ll be shooting, knifing, and bombing everyone that isn’t you, or a friendly. Okay, so basically, you’ll have a whoooole lot of shooting. Like most first person shooters. But this one is one of the ones that do it right.
Well, last paragraph. Here’s some advice: Strafing is an invaluable skill, but only if you’re not running. Then it’ll get you confused! Also, remember that your life is greater then ammo, so shoot if you think someone’s there (Even if it’s a body!). Okay, yeah, overall, a must-have for people who love to shoot and aren’t afraid to get there hands dirty.
The online is a heck load of fun that keeps you coming back, so if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly For Free!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles gives you the ability to play through Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica + a whole slew of new things.
The game is a multiplayer rail shooter game (ex: like Time Crisis if anyone ever played it before).
This means you’re in first person view while the characters move by themselves and you get to shoot the zombies! In this game you’ll literally shake around like the characters as then run with their lives.
While the stages are disturbing the game itself isn’t really scary. You might get surprised, rushed, but you’re not going to wet your pants, but grab your brother and try playing the game at night with lights off anyways!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Gameplay
Gameplay
Like mentioned this is a rail shooter game, so you can’t control movement. The only movement you can do is shooting at the zombies!
As you wander through the game you’ll find weapons, ammos, weapons, people, weapons, zombies, weapons, and guess what else? Weapons!
The ammo you find are shared with your teammate so despite your needs of being a weapon hog, it’s not going to happen.
You’ll hear characters scream as you battle through the undead, you’ll see corpse that’ll unsurprisingly stand up and attack you, and you’ll get into situation where you can watch your friend’s character get mauled to death (purposely don’t save them).
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Multiplayer
This multiplayer Wii game does come with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, but it isn’t the type we’re trying to get. It’s an online ranking system. Submit your scores online and hope you make it to the top of the list.
Multiplayer
The only multiplayer in this game is…the whole entire game! Play through the whole entire game with a friend.
Make sure they get into the game before you start the stage, because the game won’t let them join once you started the stage.
Don’t shoot crazily when you’re playing. You’re sharing everything with your friend, so be conservative, or else you’ll both be stuck with the infinite bullet handgun.
Conclusion
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles adds a new chapter to the Resident Evil series (you just have to get far enough in the game).
You might not get the scare you’re hoping for, but regardless you don’t see much good graphic rail shooter games with the wrath of the undead after you. Kill one and before you know it 2 more come and take its place.
Blaze through the game with different difficulties, upgraded weapons, and even take different routes in the replays, this game has replay values, co-op, and upgradeable weapons, what more do you want?

Octomania
Making takoyaki has never been so simple. The game focuses on matching same color octopuses on a frying pan.
It all started when apprentice magician Kari decided that she wanted to eat takoyaki (Japanese fried octopus). She cast a spell and instead of takoyaki it rained octopuses!
This multiplayer puzzle game has a lot of modes for you and a friend to play in, but lacks variety in the gameplay.

Octomania Gameplay
Gameplay
Note: Use the sideway controls!
There are multiple modes in this game. Some have multiplayer, but all of them involves you playing in an 8×10 board.
On the boards are multiple 3×3 grill space. You’ll see a number in the middle of it. You have to put that amount of the same color octopuses to “grill” them. When you move other octopuses to the grill you’ll grill it too.
You control a 2×2 square where you rotate the octopuses inside the square around. This is how you move the octopuses.
By chaining octopuses you’ll be attacking your enemies with urchins which are hard to get rid of. Each character has a specific color that they specialize in. By chaining those colors you attack your opponents with even more urchins!
Your opponent loses when their board is filled and they can’t get rid of anything in 3 seconds.
Octomania Multiplayer
Every mode operates the same as each other. There are 3 categories you are looking at:
- Arcade Mode
- Original Mode
- Nintendo WFC
I have no clue what the difference in gameplay is between Arcade and Original mode, besides the character.
Arcade involves Kari fixing her magic, while Original is about other characters and their own personal…issues.
Arcade
There is only one mode:
2 Player Battle: It’s a simple you vs. a friend!
Original
There are 3 modes:
- Octopuzzle – Play through story mode with a friend. You both play on the same grid against easy opponents to multiplayer opponents.
- Octobattle – Battle with 1-4 friends (only mode with 4 players). Where there are more then 2 players there are teams
- Endless – Play endlessly until you DIE. 2 players only
Nintendo WFC
Battle with friends or random players online in this multiplayer puzzle game.
However last time I check there wasn’t anyone around, but then again it was 11:01…
Conclusion
Even though the gameplay is the same and simply repeats itself over and over the game still has its quirks.
While some might find the story “cute” or “annoying” or anything else, you might still find the game enjoyable. The game got a few chuckles out of me even with the voice acting so it’s fine.
Also to boot this multiplayer puzzle game also has quite a few Co-Op games you can play in story mode with, so there is a lot you can do.

Battalion Wars 2
Okay, remember that one game? The one with the gun? And the Tank? And the planes and boats?
Well, this one is just like that. But better. FOR IT IS A SEQUAL! Okay, seriously, you get to bomb stuff, tank stuff, infantry stuff, AND boat stuff. Pretty good, eh?
This game is not without flaws, namely: Really bad and heavy accents.
You’ll be hearing an obnoxiously loud seagull wannabe, and some times, a really annoying Asian briefing lady. Arg, the bad accents, it burns (no offence intended)!

Battalion Wars 2 Gameplay
Gameplay
Also, you can control one unit of the available units, and control the rest of your army.
Now you’re going to kill people by shooting them repeatedly until they fall forever.
So this means no invincibility get ups, just a gun fight to the death. Western Style, preferably.
Battalion Wars 2 Multiplayer
Multiplayer
Okay, the only multiplayer you get is this: Nintendo WFC. Basically, you fight others and try to break their base. When everything falls (Like in an RTS), you win/lose if it was yours!
The other option is to work with a friend online in any of the missions, co-op!
Conclusion
Okay, basically, you’ll be shooting and bombing, maneuvering and blasting at anything that isn’t scenery. Okay, fine. You’ll also be listening to bad accents and doing barrel rolls to evade like…everything. Except giant bombs.
If you love third person shooters and planes, you’ll love this game. The cartoony graphics contrast with the violent storyline and the heavy murder. A must have for fans of shooters and airplane/boat simulator fans.
You should try renting this game first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3
Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 starts as Naruto returns back to his home town from his intense 2 ½ years of training (do you know why?).
Back home he meets old friends and new foes.
Alongside the older and stronger Naruto come new and improved characters.
Every character has become stronger and has new awesomer moves!

Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 Gameplay
Gameplay
When you play the game you can either start with story mode or just go to vs. mode.
In story mode you follow the Naruto Shippuden’s storyline all the way to the end of Gaara’s story while winning battles fulfilling certain requirements. These are very hard requirements involving 1 vs. 2 situations, finishing enemies with special attacks, and more.
When you fight you fight in 1 of 40 maps. They don’t really have anything special about them except for how they look.
In battles you hide behind objects, throw things, or just plain beat the crap out of each other. In this game when you get near death you get an incensement in stats or the ability to use special skills.
Tip: There are three types of attack weak, strong, and special. Special requires chakra, but if you click the one of them + a direction you’ll get different results some being evilly spammable ex: Naruto and strong + down.
Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 Multiplayer
First of all this game is the first Wii game of the Naruto series to have online capabilities! Brush up your skills and bring any character you unlocked for an online match.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
First create your name and then go online to kick some butt (or get kicked). Here you can do three things (there are 4 but 2 of them are pretty similar.):
- Ranked Match – Fight for points and win/lose rations. You can fight anyone friends, rivals, or just total strangers.
- Friend Match – Fight against your friends you exchanged friend codes with.
- Rival Match – Fight with your rivals you made as you battled them online.
You can do 1 character fights or team battles with you each playing 2 characters.
Vs. Mode
Here you can choose 1P, 2P, 3P, 4P, or spectator mode. All are self explanatory.
2-players allow you to:
- Play with 1 CPU or 2 CPU with a friend.
- Fight with one character or two characters
- Play 2P Survival, Time Attack, and Score Attack
- Fight with CPU’s in a 2 man team (you and your friend being one of the characters)
3-players allow you to:
- Play with 1 CPU and 2 other friends
- Fight with only 1 character in any team combination you want.
4-players allow you to:
- Fight in any combination of teams you want
- Play in Co-Op team where you in a teammate switch in to fight with you other 2 friends switching in out amongst themselves.
Conclusion
Overall, Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is a relatively swell game. The characters are all neater looking, and now the characters are a wee bit more balanced. Seriously, Asuma will still almost surely kill you, but he’s now a little weaker!
Another thing: we got more flash. You get flying fists of fiery death, instead of repeated punches (Not really, but you get the idea).
If you’re a fan of Naruto and are looking for a good fighting game to play with friends you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!
