PostHeaderIcon King of Fighters Collection the Orochi Saga

King of Fighters Collection the Orochi Saga is the collection game of a arcade fighting game-like game.

No, it’s not like Super Smash Brother Brawl, you have less movement space, but instead you get the classic press multiple direction and then attack to use special moves.

Not only does this game have the old arcade feel you also get not 1, not 2, but 5 different games in this one game!

With multitudes of character you’ll have fun with this game!

Pro:
  • 5 games from 94-98
  • A lot of unlockable things that includes music!
  • Just like the fighting games you find in the arcades.
  • A wide variety of characters to play
  • Wide list of moves
  • Training Mode (which is not available anywhere else)
  • You can use any remotes you please
Con:
  • Not much of a plot
  • There’s really no reason for you to play 94 over 98, newer is better.

King of Fighters Collection the Orochi Saga Gameplay

Gameplay

Now even though the game gives you 5 game you wouldn’t really play the old ones over the new one (Duh).  However you can still play the older version forGrab and throw your opponents for major smackdowns! whatever reason you want.

The controls for this game are up to you.  Just like Metal Slug Anthology you can set up your controllers with just about any way you want, and play in whatever style you want ex: with nunchuck, left horizontal, right horizontal, gamecube, etc

Now the game itself is really easy to play (despite of being void of any plot (that or I just got bored and skipped it)).  You have 4 attack buttons, or I like to call them heavy punch/kick and light punch/kick.

Combine those attacks with a whole slew of direction mashing techniques to grab your opponent or use special fiery skills (varies with character).

There’s no running out of the map, because you’re stuck in it.   You can only jump, dodge, or block your way out of situations!

King of Fighters Collection the Orochi Saga Multiplayer

Now this game has no Nintendo WFC (sadly) it still offers multiplayer for all of the games. You get to choose 3 of all of these characters!

Multiplayer

Well its simple your friend just press start/+ in a match then there you go!  You’re in!

You pick a team of 3 characters (depends on which game though, the older games just let you pick a team with the character’s pre chosen).  And then you brawl it out to see who the supreme victor of this multiplayer fighting game is!

Conclusion

A port for the King of Fighter game with not 2, but 5 games!

Enjoy the battles you might have at the arcades with strangers or just CPU’s, except for free and forever (or until your Wii breaks anyways :P )

Complete challenges to unlock all sorts of music, pictures, and other cools things, and then when you’re done with that, you’ll master all the moves your characters can use to inflict massive damage on your friends and family!

PostHeaderIcon Rabbids Go Home

Dashing through the snow, on a-Yoink!

I’ll be friends with you for only 20 dollars!-Yoink!

Give me my clothes back! –Already Yoinked!

The only game where someone will give you the shirt off there back-BECAUSE YOU TAKE IT! In this game, you get to beat up people, and steal their clothes!

You can also break stuff with the sheer agonizing sound of your ridiculously overly loud yelling, but still, you’re yelling at stuff.

Of course, you could always throw a rabid at it, but that takes all the fun out of it!

Pros
  • Customizable rabbids
  • Rabid inside of your wiimote interactivity!
  • Hilariously idiotic plot
  • You can literally throw random rabbids
  • You can always run around and loot stuff.
Cons
  • A bit repetitive.
  • No cut scene skip
  • Multiplayer kinda sucks, but at least the game is good.

Rabbids Go Home Gameplay

Gameplay

For some reason, the Rabbids believe they belong on the Moon. It’s most likely because they habitually sleep on large glowing objects, like lamp posts. So now they’re on a quest to gather random items and stack them up to reach the moon!

The game simply makes you pull a shopping cart with you and you gather everything you run into.

After you gather everything you can give it to a rabbid with a trombone.  Then he’ll blow it back to your giant stack of loot.  After every level you’ll see the rabbids as they disappoint failed to reach the moon.

Rabbids Go Home Multiplayer

Campaign

Okay, I’ll be frank. The multiplayer kinda stinks. I mean, one of you guys will be able to run, and jump, and yell, but the other one…well, they can’t do much. They must…PICK UP RANDOM OBJECTS THAT ARE LOOTABLE! Like clothes. Oh, and they can throw rabbids, too, but that’s about it. Not to good, see?

So it’s basically like Mario Galaxy’s multiplayer if you played it before.  The 2nd player can’t be a character and play.

Rabbids Go Home Conclusion

Rabbids Go Home is a great single player game, but not that great of a multiplayer game. I mean, I was kinda expecting a second cart to appear from no where to be able to assist you, but that’s not the case. However, it is still a really good single player game, with tons of hilarious antics.

Rabbids Go Home is an excellent game that has good controls (That bad teammates cannot mess up!), a good sense of humor, and some really silly rabbids. Rabbids go home is a must have for platforming fans that have annoying friends/relatives that always beg to play (But you won’t let them because they suck), because they can only help!
