Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex is a ported version of Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
However just, because it’s for the Wii doesn’t make this multiplayer Wii game bad. In fact you can play online or just the campaign just as well as Modern Warfare 2, just as long as you’re not one of those graphic freaks
The pistol reloads faster then the machine gun, but the knife reloads faster then the pistol. –That Chief Commander Guy at the tutorial
It’s true, stabbing equals one hit kill. Provided you CAN stab someone, anyways. Well, guess what game’s back? Call of Duty! That one game that used to be a second dog but is now a top dog! Okay, yeah, I think that’s enough gushing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Gameplay
Gameplay
You play this game like any other multiplayer shooting games. You point in the screen and fire your bullets.
One major improvement in this game is the fact that you don’t throw grenades whenever you shake the nunchuck. I have killed myself many times with the grenade as I scratched my nose. L
The game has a tutorial that teaches you everything, but I can say that everything is smooth and actually fun compared to a lot of other games.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Multiplayer
Multiplayer
Unfortunately in this game there is no offline multiplayer like the other counterpart, but this game still has Nintendo WFC!
You might think the games will run slowly, but you’re dead wrong. You might see people lag around, you might even lag around, but when you play deeper into the game you won’t noticed the lag as much.
When you first go online you can choose from only 3 modes of games. You also get pre-made classes with set weapons.
As you quickly play throught the game you’ll get exp and increases in ranks. When you get to rank 4 you could create your own character. You can give him whatever weapons, sub weapons, perks (special ability) that you want.
You have far too many game modes to play in, so I won’t say any. ‘Sides, the title is pretty self explanatory (I mean, come on, DEATHMATCH!? That’s plainly obvious), so read ‘em yourself.
The guns aren’t as self explainatory, but just read their description and just plow through people with bullets of fury!
Conclusion
Okay, in this game, you’ll be shooting, knifing, and bombing everyone that isn’t you, or a friendly. Okay, so basically, you’ll have a whoooole lot of shooting. Like most first person shooters. But this one is one of the ones that do it right.
Well, last paragraph. Here’s some advice: Strafing is an invaluable skill, but only if you’re not running. Then it’ll get you confused! Also, remember that your life is greater then ammo, so shoot if you think someone’s there (Even if it’s a body!). Okay, yeah, overall, a must-have for people who love to shoot and aren’t afraid to get there hands dirty.
The online is a heck load of fun that keeps you coming back, so if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly For Free!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles gives you the ability to play through Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica + a whole slew of new things.
The game is a multiplayer rail shooter game (ex: like Time Crisis if anyone ever played it before).
This means you’re in first person view while the characters move by themselves and you get to shoot the zombies! In this game you’ll literally shake around like the characters as then run with their lives.
While the stages are disturbing the game itself isn’t really scary. You might get surprised, rushed, but you’re not going to wet your pants, but grab your brother and try playing the game at night with lights off anyways!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Gameplay
Gameplay
Like mentioned this is a rail shooter game, so you can’t control movement. The only movement you can do is shooting at the zombies!
As you wander through the game you’ll find weapons, ammos, weapons, people, weapons, zombies, weapons, and guess what else? Weapons!
The ammo you find are shared with your teammate so despite your needs of being a weapon hog, it’s not going to happen.
You’ll hear characters scream as you battle through the undead, you’ll see corpse that’ll unsurprisingly stand up and attack you, and you’ll get into situation where you can watch your friend’s character get mauled to death (purposely don’t save them).
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Multiplayer
This multiplayer Wii game does come with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, but it isn’t the type we’re trying to get. It’s an online ranking system. Submit your scores online and hope you make it to the top of the list.
Multiplayer
The only multiplayer in this game is…the whole entire game! Play through the whole entire game with a friend.
Make sure they get into the game before you start the stage, because the game won’t let them join once you started the stage.
Don’t shoot crazily when you’re playing. You’re sharing everything with your friend, so be conservative, or else you’ll both be stuck with the infinite bullet handgun.
Conclusion
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles adds a new chapter to the Resident Evil series (you just have to get far enough in the game).
You might not get the scare you’re hoping for, but regardless you don’t see much good graphic rail shooter games with the wrath of the undead after you. Kill one and before you know it 2 more come and take its place.
Blaze through the game with different difficulties, upgraded weapons, and even take different routes in the replays, this game has replay values, co-op, and upgradeable weapons, what more do you want?

Battalion Wars 2
Okay, remember that one game? The one with the gun? And the Tank? And the planes and boats?
Well, this one is just like that. But better. FOR IT IS A SEQUAL! Okay, seriously, you get to bomb stuff, tank stuff, infantry stuff, AND boat stuff. Pretty good, eh?
This game is not without flaws, namely: Really bad and heavy accents.
You’ll be hearing an obnoxiously loud seagull wannabe, and some times, a really annoying Asian briefing lady. Arg, the bad accents, it burns (no offence intended)!
| Pros |
|
| Cons |
|
Battalion Wars 2 Gameplay
Gameplay
Also, you can control one unit of the available units, and control the rest of your army.
Now you’re going to kill people by shooting them repeatedly until they fall forever.
So this means no invincibility get ups, just a gun fight to the death. Western Style, preferably.
Battalion Wars 2 Multiplayer
Multiplayer
Okay, the only multiplayer you get is this: Nintendo WFC. Basically, you fight others and try to break their base. When everything falls (Like in an RTS), you win/lose if it was yours!
The other option is to work with a friend online in any of the missions, co-op!
Conclusion
Okay, basically, you’ll be shooting and bombing, maneuvering and blasting at anything that isn’t scenery. Okay, fine. You’ll also be listening to bad accents and doing barrel rolls to evade like…everything. Except giant bombs.
If you love third person shooters and planes, you’ll love this game. The cartoony graphics contrast with the violent storyline and the heavy murder. A must have for fans of shooters and airplane/boat simulator fans.

Call of Duty 5: World at War
You get a ton of weapons, and some vehicles. Prepare to be kamikaze bazooka’d. And sometimes Banzai’d. Some psychos will literally lunge at you, hoping to either catch you off guard or stab you.
On another hand, looting enemy guns, burning peasants, and calling air strikes to literally strike down people is just adding to the fun of this multiplayer Wii game.
Unfortunately in this game you play with a friend shooting on your screen unlike the other versions where they are their own character.

Call of Duty 5: World at War Gameplay
Gameplay
You start out captured by the Japanese in WWII. You watch as a fellow soldier gets tortured to death, but just before its your turn you get saved. Now it’s time for revenge!
Fulfill mission objectives as you blow up, shoot, and stab enemy soldiers. That’s really all you have to do in this game!
Call of Duty 5: World at War Multiplayer
Multiplayer
There are two multiplayer modes.
Co-Op
You play two players in the campaign, with your friend as an invisible gun. Player 1 is the guy that moves around, and the camera follows your angle so generally you get the best aim, while your friend pathetically tries to aim.
Nintendo WFC
You get to pick five pre-made classes, three of which you start with, and must level up to unlock them, as well as character creation.
Conclusion
Call Of Duty 5: World At War is a fun multiplayer Wii game, especially if you like shooting. You can do all the campaign over and over again, because it can be incredibly fun to shoot all of those Germans with that sweet Type 99.
The game is a very explosive one, with surprises every moment. Make sure you expect that guy with a shotgun on the top of that flight of stairs. Make sure you expect that bayonet charge.
All and all, this is a must have for FPS fans, even more so if you are a Call of Duty fan!
if you have another system besides this I would recomend you to buy that version but, you should try renting the wii version first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

Mario Power Tennis
Alright, that one game with tennis! Yeah, I got nothing. The important thing is that you can smash shots quickly and shoot super shots of ultimate smashing. That’s right, you can smash people! In the face! And win! Oh, and timing’s only kinda important. Yeah, I’m done here.
But not here! Okay, not only are there multiple stages, but there are also…MULTIPLE STAGES WITH GIMMICKS!!! Also, you can have other games as well. Okay, I think I’m done here. Bye.
| Pros |

|
Mario Power Tennis Gameplay
Controls
- Okay, you swing to well…swing.
- D-pad/Nunchuck to move, as always.
- A-swing for a strong shots.
- B + swing is for weak shots
Yeah, okay, that’s it. There are multiple swings, but I’ll just leave that to the tutorial.
Gameplay
Okay, for some reason, Mario and his crew of MAJOR AND WELL RECOGNIZED characters are playing tennis. Don’t ask me why. Oh, also, Bowser’s playing a friendly game as well. Yeah, I don’t know the plot too well, but at least it’s a swell game.
Mario Power Tennis Multiplayer
Okay, basically, you can play minigames with up to four people, and exhibition with also up to four people. They play as their favorite characters, or their most effective (Like they’re good with Waluigi, but like Mario) Well, whatever. Play, win, and then repeat.
Conclusion
Okay, Super Mario Tennis is a great tennis game. You probably will like it if you like tennis, but if you don’t know, you should try it out. Tennis is a good game, but only if you try. Oh, and here’s a hint: Think. I won’t elaborate on that.
Also, utilization of the tutorial is extremely useful. Especially if you don’t know what’s going on. If you don’t know what shots do, look into it. Well, this game is a must-have for Tennis Lovers, and Wii owners.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2
ARRRRRRRRRGGHHHH!! My leg! Oh… *Ten seconds later* Okay, I’m back! Yes, the one game where you can get shot twenty times, then hide behind a box and recover nearly instantaneously is this one. So long as you don’t die, you can recover from ANYTHING.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a great multiplayer wii game, but getting shot several times and recovering nearly instantly is kinda odd for high physics games. Well, anyways, shooting things in this game is quite satisfying. It just feels a bit…finer, ya know? The gunplay just seems a little be more…robust.

Medal of Honors: Heroes 2 Gameplay
Gameplay
Tonight, you’ll be fighting Germans. IN GERMAN! Hitler’s got some super spectacular awesome godly nuke weapon, ARE YOU A BAD ENOUGH DUDE TO STOP HIM?! So yeah, you’ve got a Thompson, which, surprisingly, SUCKS compared to the Germans’ guns. With no actual path to follow, you’ll just follow the stars, or your comrades. You can also blow some stuff up. EXPLOSIONS!!
Also, you can play arcade mode for a different experience. You play it as a rail run game. The game controls where you move, you just shoot stuff. This includes health packs to somehow recover yourself.
Medal of Honors Heroes 2 Multiplayer
3 modes here. Death match, Team Death match, and Capture the flag. Only available for Nintendo WFC.
Death Match
So, you’ll be fighting to the death. Is there anything more to add besides that? No. Very no.
Team Death Match
Same as above, but you can press one to give commands to all of your maximum of 16 comrades.
Capture the flag
You’ll have to go stealthy to swipe the enemies flag, then RUN LIKE MILLIONS OF BULLETS ARE ON YOUR TAIL! Because millions probably are. Also, you should probably have a comrade with that, just ‘cause fighting meat shields are effective.
Conclusion
You’ll be shooting Nazis, punching Germans (Don’t tell me that they’re the same thing, I know.), and blowing stuff up. This includes U-Boats! Yes, this is all in a day’s work. There’s a few tips, like don’t hesitate to reload, and don’t hesitate to replace your gun. Good thing the enemies are color coated for your convenience, eh?
All jokes aside, the game is a very violent, yet very fun first person shooter. You could as well find yourself dead as find yourself alive. The thrill of the hunt is very fun, as is the thrill of the battle. A must have for first person shooter fans and Wii owners.

Metal Slug Anthology
Metal Slug Anthology is a scrolling shooter that contains 7 Metal Slug games throughout the decade.
This multiplayer Wii game includes Metal Slug 1-6 and X. 6 could only be founded at arcades, but not anymore, now it’s part of a console.
The reason this game is a multiplayer Wii game is, because there are 2-player Co-Op in every single one of these 7 games.
Not only that, but you and your friends can adjust the difficulty, the amount of lives you get, the amount of continues, and some other nifty features, such as saving in mid-game.
| Pro: |
|
| Con: |
|
Metal Slug Anthology Gameplay
Controls
This multiplayer Wii game is very simplistic. I’ll be using the Wiimote. You move with the D-pad. Shoot with 1 and jump with 2. Shake the Wiimote to throw a
grenade. Be careful, because you only have a number of those.
Gameplay
Metal Slug is known to be extremely action-packed, fun, and frantic. This is true about all 7 games in this package. You run around in each stage with a pistol. You can kill things by shooting them, this includes destructible buildings.
Sometimes you’ll run into tied up prisoners. Shoot them to free them. Then stand next to them and they’ll give you items or even weapons they could have used to free themselves! A fair warning to you though: each weapon you pick up only has a certain amount of ammo. Once you used them all you throw the gun away.
After jumping, ducking, and shooting your way to the end of the mission you’ll encounter a boss fight, which usually includes some gigantic machines.
Metal Slug Anthology Multiplayer
This multiplayer shooting game doesn’t have Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or anything online related. What it does have though is the ability to play 7 games with
multiplayer with one of your friends. The action is frantic and it can be as easy or hard as you want it to be.
2-Player Co-Op
To do this you just need to have 2 controllers (a Gamecube controller would be fine too), and then just go into one of the 7 games. Get in the game (character selection), and let them press Start to get in. That’s all you have to do!
Conclusion
Metal Slug Anthology is a fun multiplayer shooting game. In fact just one of the Metal Slug games would have been plenty of fun, but not only do you get 7 games you also get some added features.
With unlimited continues you can practically play through the whole game as you wish. If you want to beef up the challenge then get rid of the unlimited life and make it limited. Battling through this game with your life on the line is exhilarating. That and getting a friend to take a hit for you is also very fun to watch.
if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy
Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy is the one hit wonder as an editing game.
Besides the fact that you can play a multiplayer plane shooting arcade game you can just about edit anything you want in the game.
This multiplayer wii game not only allows you to play through the game it allows you to play with all of your friends. In this game you can play through campaign mode with 2 players, and arcade mode with 4 players.
As much as I would love to say this multiplayer shooting game is easy, it’s far from that. You’ll face 3 difficulty levels, and even at the easiest level the game is still hard.
| Pro: |
|
| Con: |
|
Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy Gameplay
Playing Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy is as simple as pressing 1 and 2 (which is easy).
You’ll play the game with just the wiimote sideways. You use the D-pad to move around, and you press 1 to fire your weapon. When you kill enemies you can touch them to connect them onto your ship.
When you have enemy planes on your ship you can use their attack other planes, and use them as a shield to prevent your otherwise fated death. However if the parts get hit it’ll instantly fall off.
To protect your parts press 2 to absorb all of the parts into your ship making you more vulnerable.
Once you get a lot of parts things become very crazy!
Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy Multiplayer
In this multiplayer wii game you can play with up to 1-4 friends in Co-Op. There’s a Nintendo WFC in this game, but instead of playing with other people you’ll be playing with the creative side of the game… the game editor.
Campaign Mode
This is where you and one of your friends fly through the sky sweeping everything out of the sky. Once you both die you get…game over. You have 3 different
difficulties (same rule applies to all modes)
You each with lives, and depending on how much points you get you get an extra life. Getting hit (or touched) even once will kill you.
Arcade Mode
Arcade Mode is where you and 3 other friends fly through the skies. With 4 players imagine the chaos that will occur? Okay, probably not much chaos. One person will probably dominate for a while due to the sheer size, but everybody will have their chance.
In this mode you’ll have continues when you die. You get 5 continues and it’s up to you and your friends to divide up the lives.
User Level
This is where all of your hard works in the editor mode pays off. Here you can use everything you made from the ships you built and the levels you created.
Nintendo WFC
Here you can upload your creations online or even download other people’s creation to your own game, and then edit it some if you want.
Now you can either send or receive from your friends who have made things or get other people’s from online via the choice blast work depot. To this you must first…
- Go to the site blastworkdepot.com (on a computer or the wii if you want) and go register an account using your wii’s console number (basically your friend code)
- Choose the things you want to download and then download them
- Go back to your wii and connect on to the blast work depot to download all the stuff you want.
Conclusion
With the ability to make everything in this wii shooting game, and then share it with your friends make this multiplayer shooter game a very fun addition to your collection of games.
Not to mention for the non-creative or lazy people (which is none of us, right?) you can go online and download other people’s contents that could be a fun addition to your game.
if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

The Conduit
The Conduit is a long awaited game for its best graphics the Wii could offer. The controls are fast, smooth, and allow you to shoot with accurate precisions unlike some other shooting games. However that’s not all this multiplayer Wii game offers.
This multiplayer Wii games lets you play as Agent Michael Ford as he battles through hoards and hoards of enemy aliens and mind-possessed ex-agents. The story may sound old and redone, but hey blasting aliens and other players online is still fun.
| Pro: |
|
| Con: |
|
The Conduit Gameplay
Controls
If you played a first person shooter game, like 007: Quantum of Solace, then you should know the controls are similar for those two Wii multiplayer games.
You point to the screen with the Wiimote (fast and accurate), and you shoot with B. Press A to jump (allows you to dodge enemy fire). C Allows you to crouch (perfect for cover fire and evading attacks). Z is for targeting your opponents. When you target though you don’t automatically lock on to them, it just makes it easier for you to hit them.
You do melee attacks by thrusting your Wiimote, and you throw your grenade by swinging the Nunchuck. Pressing the 4 directions on the D-pad leads you to different options:
- Up – Makes you turn around
- Right – Makes you change to your other weapon
- Down – Makes you zoom in or out. You can use your weapons scope if it has one.
- Left – Change grenade types
Gameplay
Like I mention earlier you play as Michael Ford. You’re a skilled agent that gets used in the game and changes sides as the story moves on. You play in the near future in Washington, D.C. (because that’s where all of the important stuff happens at).
Things happened and then your objective became to wipe out these aliens known as Druge that are planning to take control of Planet Earth.
You come in this game with the A.S.E. (All Seeing Eye). This helps you throughout the game (and acts like a flag in multiplayer mode), by solving puzzles and getting rid of these very annoying invisible bombs that will instantly kill you if you don’t disarm them.
As you moved on in the game you can pick up some nice human and alien weapons to fight your enemies with. You’ll need them, because you’ll be facing mob after mob of aliens if you don’t take out the egg sac or portal that’s summoning them.
The Conduit Multiplayer
With great multiplayer brings great fun. The Conduit doesn’t have any offline multiplayer shooting action, but it has Nintendo WFC. You could play randomly with a lot of game modes online with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This means you could organize a game with your friends, but it’s not necessary. However if you ever decide to do that then you need to add friend codes.
Note: You can play with friends, regional, and worldwide with this multiplayer Wii game.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
Okay first of all you can customize what you look like. You don’t get to choose a whole lot, just a couple of models (agent, drone, guard, scientist, and a secret character). You can choose them, and then customize their colors.
Now that you have created a character let’s move on to the shooting multiplayer game action with other people. There are 3 modes to play in, and they each have several rules to make the game even more unique.
Free-For-All
Everyone kill each other. The person with the most kills win. It gets as simple as that. In this multiplayer mode your character colors are what you set them
too. In team mode you don’t have custom coloring. There are 5 rules you can vote for:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first person who reach set amount of kills win
- Marathon – There’s no respawn time or kill limits, so just kill, kill, kill. The person with the most kill in 20 minutes wins.
- Three-Strikes – You have 3 lives. If you are the last man standing you win the game.
- ASE Football – You basically have to fight for the ASE. Every second you hold it you get 1 point. So you win if you’re the first to get 99 points, or have the most points when the time runs out.
- Bounty Hunter – As the name suggests you play like a bounty hunter hunting a target. Everybody gets a random target to kill. If they kill them they get 2 points. However if you kill someone else you lose a point, but if you kill your hunter you don’t lose any.
Team Reaper
This multiplayer shooting mode pits one team against the other for killing points. If you want to win, then kill like there’s no tomorrow! There are 3 rules to vote on:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first team who reach set amount of kills win
- Marathon – There’s no respawn time or kill limits, so just kill, kill, kill. The team with the most kills in 20 minutes wins.
- Shared Stock – Each team gets 50 lives. The first team to run out of lives loses.
Team Objective
This is capture basically capture the flag styled game. Each team has a ASE to guard and for the other team to capture. There are 4 rules to vote on in this Wii multiplayer game:
- Quick-Match – The time is shortened and the first team who captures the ASE 5 time wins. If not the team who has captured it the most wins.
- Marathon – The team that captures the ASE the most in 20 minutes wins.
- Killing Override – This mode allows you to win either by capturing the ASE 5 times or just killing 75 people.
- Single ASE – The ASE is placed in the middle of the map. The teams have to race to it, and take it back to their HQ.
Conclusion
The Conduit offers a fun gaming experience as you can also you voice chat online (although I never use it). The controls are slick, and being engage in a one-on-one gun match is exhilarating.
Besides that Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection also offers a gigantic magnitude of modes and rule to play on this multiplayer Wii game.
if you’re interested, you should buy this game, but you can rent it first at Gamefly starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!

007: Quantum of Solace
Since I have never seen James Bond: Quantum of Solace (or is it 007?), but anyways…
In this multiplayer shooter game you might encounter some control problems, and maybe some unclear objectives, but this game really shines through in its multiplayer modes.
Among all of the problems in this game, what you should really want to do is multiplayer mode. Here the game does some nifty things pairing you with a total of 4 players online in 4 different modes.
| Pro: |
|
| Con: |
|
007: Quantum of Solace Gameplay
Now once you make yourself a profile (by picking your mii) you’re introduced to story mode, multiplayer mode, or online mode. You can just play the beginning (tutorial) and just go online.
You play this shooter game by pointing at the enemies and then shoot at them. You can run, which allows you to make a fun run and fire strategy. Not only that, but you can throw grenades at your opponent, just make sure you don’t point at a wall, otherwise the grenade will bounce back and blow up on you!
Now if you don’t want to be the type that runs in to the middle of the battlefield there are other ways for you to play. You can run into cover and blind shoot your opponent. This means just hold your gun up and fire. What actually happens is that you point at a spot and shoot.
The last thing is that by running up to a person and then shake the nunchuck you’ll engage them in hand-to-hand combat.
007: Quantum of Solace Multiplayer
Multiplayer is where all of the action of this game is. The games ranking system can be pretty messed up sometimes, but you’ll still have a kick knowing that you’re snipping someone to death multiplayer times, or that you secretly strangle someone to death.
This multiplayer wii game supports Nintendo WFC so you can go online and face off with friends that you exchange friend codes with. You can only have a maximum amount of 4 players per game.
Local Multiplayer Mode
You can play locally with up to 4 of your friends. You can play in 4 modes, but really it’s just 2 modes that is with teams or is just solo. You get to choose 5 classes, and each class has their own set of weapons, but don’t worry you can always re-choose your class mid-game.
There are 2 sides you can choose from, but don’t worry the classes may have different names, but they play the same compared to their counter parts.
Nintendo WFC
This is pretty much the same thing as local multiplayer mode. The only difference is that you get to play with the big screen all by yourself.
The Four Modes
Now the four modes are:
- Rush – This is where you go accomplish solo missions while the rest of the people are trying to kill you to accomplish their mission instead
- Conflict – This mode is basically Death Match. Try and kill as much people as you can in your 15 minute time span.
- Team Rush – Do I need to say anything?
- Conflict – You know it…
Conclusion
Having the ability to strategically move from cover to cover and not to mention go crazy and try to kill everyone you want makes James Bond: Quantum of Solace a very fast-paced wii shooter game.
The single player part of the game might be bad, because color problems, glitches, and unfortunately much more, can be easily made up by this awesome 4-player multiplayer mode.
