Okay time for me to put some back work into this writing business (If you don’t get it, this is the first thing I’m writing since the school break of 2009, however it’ll probably be put in a stock pile somewhere…)

Anyways back to business.  Super Mario Sluggers is a baseball with Mario characters!

Generally you can do very well with people who don’t play much, even if you’re up against someone who owns the game!

Unlocking Everything

Sorry there’s no up, right, down, a, b cheat code to unlock all the characters and maps.  No, you have to unlock those characters and fields stuff yourselves.

Generally all you have to do is just to roam around all of the coliseums to find characters in trouble.  Help them with signature moves and they’ll join you.

Anyways it’s not that hard to beat the game.  Really, all I did was just go straight from one game to the next.  Eventually (under 2 hours), I find myself beating the game.

Beating people

Well here it is, some strategies I use to beat friends who play Wii Sports like there’s no tomorrow.

Tip #1: Change the position you throw.  Confuse them and, maybe even get some nice strikes!

Tip #2: Go for the slow one.  Then the fast, then the fast!  I don’t know why, but the concept seems easy, but you just can’t do it.  So just break the tempo!

Tip #3: Use the star pitch or swings to get the last strike or shot to get the shot or maybe the final strike.

Using just the Wiimote

You might not know this, but you can play this game without the nunchuck.

If you play without it certain things happen.  For example without it your outfielders will automatically run to the balls.

I find that doing this is a lot easier then just controlling them to mess up.
