There aren’t really many tricks to Lego Batman: The Video Game, what’s said here can generally be applied to the rest of the Lego games and likewise those could be applied to this game.

Stud Making

Break Everything

I mean it if you want to make sometimes you just have to do it with sweat and blood, by breaking everything and collecting the studs.

Pick Up Your Drops

When you die the first thing you should immediately do is to salvage as much of the studs you dropped as possible.  It may be pocket change at first, but things add up eventually.

Explore

Run around the whole map.  You may encounter numerous goodies from blue studs to even the purple studs.

Mini Kits

Collect the mini kits you find throughout the stages.  Each stage has 10 mini kits, and it is well worth it if you collect them all.  When you get them you unlock a vehicle that’s put in the trophy room!  That and you also get a whopping 50,000 studs.

Unlocking Characters

Now there are a few ways of unlocking characters for purchase.  One way is to play all of the episodes in the game.  Once you play all stages you’ll unlock all of the characters (except for the 2 secret characters).  If you want to play the character now you can find passwords for them.

However if you used the passwords (which can be easily found via Google or other big gaming sites) you still have to buy the characters
