Multiplayer Wii Games FTW!

Little King’s Story

Little King’s Story is a game about castles, soldiers, castles, battles, and did I say castles?  The game is a Real Time Strategy.  You wander around in the world gathering citizens to be your loyal minions and then bring them to do whatever you want.

You start off in this game with a small little village like place, and then start building it up into what’s more befitting of royalty!  Not only that you also spend a lot of time leaving your land and going into enemy territory to conquer other land, and fight monsters.  This is a great Nintendo Wii game.

Pro:
  • The boss fights are awesome if not a bit strange
  • The game looks good
  • It’s a great RTS game which you don’t see a lot of
  • You build and manage your own kingdom!
Con:
  • The plot overall was really weak

Little King’s Story Story

Story

Little King’s Story starts out with a boy name Corobo who likes to play in his room tried to scare off some rats away from his room wandered into a mythical world (sounds familiar?), there he finds a crown.  He decided to put it on, and discovered that with the crown he can make people do whatever he wants.  Instead of enslaving everyone and causing mass chaos however (:P) he became the ruler of a kingdom.

The kingdom however is a small little village, but with the help of your trusted advisor and world conquest dreaming knight, and a lot of your loyal citizens, explore the land for treasure to build up your “castle”

Little King’s Story Gameplay

Gameplay

This Nintendo Wii Game starts you off with looking for treasure.  You take in your troops (which consist of farmers and soldiers) with you to look for buried treasure.

The gameplay is like an RTS where you send your units forward to attack the enemies.  However that’s only the easy part.  As you progress throughout the game you get more units, fight more variety of enemies, and overall are more complicated.  However the game is nice enough to slowly give you more options over time, until eventually you unlock it all.

Besides conquesting the lands and taking it over (and their princesses) due to the suggestions of your knight you manage your castle and your units.

In there you can order your citizens to do whatever you need them to do.  The options are very limited at first, but once you start building buildings you can train each citizen to be a certain type of worker.  There are many other buildings that won’t be covered that overall makes life easier for you.

Be warned in this Nintendo Wii Game you should always have a variety of units with you, because when you explore the land you’ll encounter problems that can only be handled by certain units.  An example is that soldiers are only good at fighting, and can’t dig for treasure at all.  Farmers on the other hand are bad at fighting, but are great at digging.

Conclusion

Little King’s Story is a great Nintendo Wii game being one of the few RTS games found on the console.  Not only that it’s one of the best with smooth and increasingly difficult gameplay.

The game also has its own charms that you can see in the video above that’ll just make you smile.

Aside from building your castle, which is also great fun the story progress by you conquesting and exploring lands for treasure, it is very fun to send a large amount of units to attack the enemies and just watch them fight, and hopefully come out victorious!
