Dewy’s Adventure
Dewy’s Adventure is a very cute, platforming, rolling, action game. It may be cute and colorful to the point of a head ache, but it offers a lot of creativity.
This multiplayer Wii games makes you play as a water droplet. Not, just any water droplet though you play as Dewy, the legendary hero!
You might have never heard of him, but he saved his world, the mythical fairy tail world that’s protected by the Tree of Seven Colors from an evil monster named Don Hedron.
Don Hedron failed and left, but 1000 years later with the mysterious black rain. The rain made the magical tree ill, and it’s up to Dewy to save the world.

Dewy’s Adventure Gameplay
Controls
You hold the Wiimote horizontally. You move Dewy by tilting the controls in the direction you want. Now that’s not all this action game offers you. You also get platforming abilities like jumping in the air and then smashing down on your enemies.
By pressing up or down on the D-Pad you change the temperature, thus changing Dewy and the environment. It’s impressive on how the stage will look all nice and green and then suddenly freezes up!
Gameplay
You’ll be going through colorful stages rescuing Dewy’s Eau friends. There are 7 worlds and each of them has 5 stages. The 5th stage is a boss fight, and the rest have a total of 400 Eau. So there are 100 Eau per stage.
By changing the temperature you can make Dewy become:
- Gas – This is your hot temperature form. You’re stuck in the same spot, but you can fly up and rain down gigantic thunderbolts on your enemies. You could either stun them, or just plain kill the enemies.
- Water – This is your room-temperature form. This form is similar to ice, except for the fact that you jump higher.
- Ice – This is the freezing temperature form. Like water you can move around, but watch out its slippery! Ice is combat oriented, meaning this form is best used to attack your enemies.
However not only that, but sometimes you have to change the temperature to move on in this game.
Dewy’s Adventure Multiplayer
The multiplayer in this game could be found inside Goody Mode. Here you can do things like design your own stages with things you saw in the game. The things you designed are for the multiplayer mode.
Now if you wish you can also send and receive the stages you make with your friends via. WiiConnect24.
Multiplayer Mode
Now what you do here is simple. You pick one of the maps that are already there, or the custom ones you make yourself, either way it’s what’s going to happen next…
Once you get all the players in, and chose the stage the game begins! In each map you can see how many stars there are. Your goal is to gather them, and the one with the most stars win. Now the deathmatch start!
You can attack each other, to get each other’s stars, but what I really like to do is my Earthquake or wind power and mess around with my friends. Once my friend asked me to blow him somewhere when he was in his gas form, but instead I “accidentally” blew him off the cliff J
Conclusion
Either you’ll love the cuteness of the game, or you’ll hate it. However despite those opinions one fact still remains of this game. The controls are sometimes very frustrating. It also does not help when you put Eau near the edge, as you’ll usually be sent flying off the map.
If you’re a child, and you’ve played plenty of other games (Beating them, and assuming it’s an actual action game) this game is probably for you.
The cuteness adds to the game play, while simultaneously adding to a child’s attraction.
While it can get annoying to play and fall off cliffs, the cute graphics and the creativity of your forms really contribute to how great this game is.
I would recommend you to try this game first with Gamefly. Starting as low as $8.95 or Try For Free!
