Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Cheats

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is different from your typical racing game (probably due to the speed, power, and flying system from Sonic Heroes).  You play as racers capable of:

  • Smashing through walls and structures.
  • Grinding on rails to avoid the normal path.
  • Flying through the stage via flying rings.

Here are some tips and tricks on doing better in your gaming.

Racing Tricks

Starting Line

If you make it exactly to the starting line with the bar you get 100 gravity points (GP) to you’re meter, and the perfect head start.  The trick to getting it is to wait and run when the time hits 2.9 seconds.  Now everybody’s reflexes are different so you should test around, but this tip should work.

Jumping

Notice how you get ranked on your jumps?  Well, you don’t get to do tricks, but the later you jump off the ramp, the higher you go, and the more tricks you perform.  Sure the landing looks cruddy, like you messed up, but don’t worry you didn’t.  The better ranking you get the more GP you get.

Wall Changing

Some stages will have signs pointing to a wall.  The trick is to go over there and use Gravity Drift (B + Direction of the wall) to race on the wall.  You stay there for the duration while getting some nice goodies.

Collecting Rings

It’s extremely vital that you collect rings in the beginning.  If you do that you can upgrade your gears.  If you don’t upgrade your gear you can’t do things like smash buildings, fly, or even grind!

Gravity Dash

When you see the R button (or you’re in a area where it’s pretty straight) you should press R (Gravity Drive), and start going super fast through the area.  The unique thing here though is that you can fly in the air.  By pressing down you fly up (controls are inverted), and if you collide with objects you get to move even faster!  Might I also mention there are tons of objects for multiple collisions?

Making Those Sharp Turns

If you want to make those sharp turns in the game you have to use Gravity Drift.  It’s really easy to use.  The trick is to just do what the game says and press B and a direction.  Hold onto it until you get into a good direction and let go!  You’ll get a boost to boot!

Use Your Type Advantage

This is obvious.  If you’re speed type you should go use speed ever rail to your advantage.  Like wise if you’re power or flying.  Look out for the signs telling you.

  • Yellow = Flying
  • Blue = Speed
  • Red = Power

Note: Before you can do any of this though you have to gear change and unlock the ability on your board.
