The Best Apartment I Would Go To For College

If I were to get accepted into the college I want, the University of California, Berkley, I would live out of dorm, because we all know how expensive dorms are!  I’m not the richest guy in the world, so I have to settle with what I have, and if that means giving up on a lot of fun dorm events such as partying, hanging out with my soon-to-be new friends, easier access to school, I’ll do it.  Looking through vacancy.com, I found the perfect apartment for me, the Del Norte Place.  It might not offer as much benefits as the dorms or other more expensive apartments, but I’ll MAKE it to suit my needs.

This apartment is a pretty good match to what I want.  It is close to UCB and if Google Map is right, it should only take me 26 minutes to walk to the bus stop, ride it, and then walk to the school.  So I should be extremely careful on planning my trips to school, I wouldn’t want to be late!  I might be 26 minutes away from school, but that’s both a good and a bad thing.  Bad, because I need to plan extra early and that I won’t be with a lot of other students, but its good, because I’m a serious student.  Once I get into study mode, I really don’t like being disturbed, so I really hope that my room in Del Norte Place has the sound insulating double-pane windows as they advertised.

Another benefit to living in Del Norte Place would be that the Marketplace Plaza is close, advertised to be: “Just downstairs on the first level”.  If that’s the case, I would have access to all the cooking ingredients to craft myself some home cooked dish away from home, but first I need to get my father’s recipes!  And if cooking doesn’t work out for me, I can just go to one of the nearby restaurants.   I’m making myself hungry thinking about all of the food I can find!

Besides the school and food factor (the whole reason I chose this apartment in the first place), there’s the entertainment factor!  Who can live without entertainment!  The apartment promises internet, so that’s a start.  However if the speed isn’t to my liking, I might consider getting my own internet provider, I’m a gamer, and if you might not have noticed now by looking at this site, a (newbie) internet marketer, the internet is both a source of entertainment and income for me, so it’s important that I have a decent internet connection.

For other sources of entertainment, I might consider Best Buy’s college deal.  Buy a TV and get a free Xbox 360!   However I doubt that the promotion will last another year.  The apartment itself offers a large play area, but I don’t think a “grown-up”, should be caught playing in there, but who knows it depends on what’s in there.  I don’t see many things to do in the area, I guess I would visit the Canyon Trail Park often, it sounds like a great place to just relax after a hard day’s work at studying.

Besides the entertainment, school, and food factors, the apartment itself is a relatively good price: $1199.00 – $1270.00 for 672 square feet.  It’s called the ambassador and offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.  And the apartment offers 24 hour emergency maintenance, courtesy patrol, High Efficient Laundry Facilities, and plenty of space.  This would be the perfect package offering both safety, hygiene, and help for a student who’s away from home for the first time in his life.

Rummaging through the list of apartment that I can call home in California, I have chosen Del Norte Place.  Its prices makes it affordable for me, and its location is perfect for me, as I never have to worry about how to get food and I can get to school easily with minimal effort.  The apartment offers internet which should sustain me for entertainment if I can’t find anything interesting that’s around my location, and the hotel offers laundry, maintenance, patrols, locked doors, and a sense of safety.  Something a person by himself for the first time, would appreciate.
